Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma Health and Wellness Academic Scholarship

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma Health and Wellness Academic Scholarships provide financial assistance to high school seniors who exhibit at the Oklahoma Youth Expo (OYE) and plan to attend college in Oklahoma to prepare for a career in medicine focused on rural health and wellness. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma offers four $5,000 scholarships to 12th grade students exhibiting at the 2027 OYE who will be attending an Oklahoma Higher Education Institution and enrolling in a medical program with the intention of focusing on rural health and wellness. Funds will be dispersed with a $2,500 scholarship during the first semester of the freshman year and the balance dispersed the first semester of the junior year if a student continues to participate in a medical program with a focus on rural health and wellness. Students will be evaluated on academics and community involvement. Applications are due postmarked December 1, 2026.
