The Hispanic Heritage History Month Essay Contest is offered to current 4th-12th grade students in Florida. Students with an interest in Hispanic heritage, family, and culture are highly encouraged to apply. The Florida Prepaid College Foundation is a proud sponsor of the Governor's Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Essay Contest, featuring students from 4th to 12th grade throughout the state of Florida. The essay contest has historically celebrated Hispanic heritage, family, and culture. Each winning student received a 2-Year Florida College Plan Scholarship from the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.
