DeadlineDescription
The Sacred Heart University Transfer Achievement Award is a merit scholarship awarded based on transfer students' academic achievements at their previous post-secondary institutions. This scholarship is only awarded at the time of admission and is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Students may contact the Student Financial Assistance for more information. Transfer students are considered for academic scholarships as part of the admission application review process; a separate scholarship application is not required. Merit scholarships are renewable for four years (eight semesters) of full-time undergraduate study provided the student maintains the required cumulative GPA established for their specific scholarship. Sacred Heart University's Test-Optional Admissions Policy applies to the review for merit scholarships; however, candidates may submit test scores if they feel these provide further evidence of academic ability and potential. The Transfer Achievement Award is one of the transfer merit scholarship programs offered by Sacred Heart University (alongside the Phi Theta Kappa and Community College Scholarship awards); SHU merit scholarships range from $6,000 to $20,000.
