UAH Transfer Merit Scholarship

The UAH Transfer Merit Scholarship is available to new transfer students seeking their first bachelor's degree. No separate scholarship application is required — students who submit an application for admission and official transcripts from all previously attended colleges are automatically eligible for consideration. Recipients must not have previously attended UAH and must maintain full-time enrollment at UAH. The Transfer Merit Scholarship requires a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least 12 transferable college credit hours, awarding $1,500 annually for up to three years (a higher-tier Super Scholar Transfer Scholarship is also available for students with a 3.5 GPA and 12+ credit hours at $3,000/year). If a student's GPA increases once final transcripts are received and places them in a higher scholarship bracket, the scholarship will be automatically upgraded. New and upgraded scholarships will not be awarded after the official add/drop date for full-term classes each semester.
