UNC Carolina Scholarship

The University of North Carolina is proud to offer academic scholarships to a small number outstanding students each year. All students who are admitted to UNC are automatically considered for these scholarships; no additional application materials are necessary. Some Academic Scholarships take financial need into consideration. Others are completely need-blind. For fullest consideration for Academic Scholarships, we recommend submitting your FAFSA by January 10. The University of North Carolina Scholarship is awarded to students who show outstanding academic achievement in high school and strong potential for continued leadership and engagement at Carolina. To be considered for the Carolina Scholarship, simply apply for admission by either the Early Action or Regular Decision deadline. Carolina Scholars are automatically invited to join the UNC Scholars Program. Carolina Scholarships are renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) of undergraduate study at Carolina. For fullest consideration we recommend applying by the Early Action deadline.
