University of Dayton Trustees' Merit Scholarship

The University of Dayton Trustees' Merit Scholarship, worth $31,000 to $33,000 per year, is available to incoming first-year students and is renewable for up to four years (or eight semesters at UD). Recipients will be selected based on a variety of criteria, including GPA, test scores (if submitted), and academic rigor. The scholarship range is a year amount that includes eligibility for the textbook scholarship. Scholarships apply to full-time degree programs. Scholarship awards are renewable as long as you meet academic requirements each year. Scholarship ranges differ for partnership programs, like the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or degree programs that are less than 8 semesters. Please note that the students must notify Flyer Student Services of any external scholarships they may receive. Such awards are counted as a resource and may reduce their eligibility for other need-based aid. Students are automatically considered for a merit scholarship as part of the admission process; there is no application fee. The University of Dayton is test-optional in admission, and an applicant's scholarship eligibility will not be negatively impacted by a test-optional application.
