The recipient of the Fulbright Scholar Award (Curtin University) will undertake research of importance to the bilateral relationship between Australia and the United States in the areas of resources and energy, or other related fields of engineering, physics, mining, geology, and resource extraction. Other activities may include consulting on curriculum, participating in graduate/faculty seminars, and giving guest lectures. Scholars are encouraged to collaborate with the host institution on workshops/short seminars. All applicants should demonstrate plans for some interaction with host institution faculty and students. Research on any areas related to the industries of resources and energy is eligible. Academic applicants must have a PhD (or other terminal degree) and have 10 or more years of experience in their field (inclusive of PhD). Applicants with less than 10 years' experience who are appropriately qualified as a senior lecturer, associate professor, or full professor, will also be considered.
