Kent State University Academic Transfer Award

The Kent State University Academic Transfer Award is available to transfer students with a minimum of 24 transfer credit hours earned after high school graduation that are accepted as credit at Kent State University and were used in the GPA calculation at their school. This scholarship is for Ohio residents only. Students must be enrolled in their first bachelor's degree program. The minimum cumulative college grade point average (GPA average from all colleges the student attended previously) will be used to determine eligibility. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours) each semester at the Kent Campus. Award Amounts: $1,000-$2,500. Transfer scholarships are merit scholarships awarded automatically after admission; no additional application is required. Apply to the Kent Campus of Kent State University as a new transfer student by August 10 for fall. Transfer scholarships apply only to tuition and cannot be combined with the Flash Transfer Northeast Ohio Scholarship. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
